Few places in the country surpass Chehalis, Washington in Lewis County for cool stuff to do outdoors.

You can easily hike or bike on any of the hundreds of trails, take a leisurely Horseback Ride or hop in the car or RV and do some backcountry camping in the Mt. Rainier National Park, Gifford Pinchot National Forest or Goat Rocks Wilderness.


Maybe Fishing is your thing!

With a multitude of rivers and streams dotting the Chehalis landscape, you can spend the whole day drowning worms and never see the same spot twice! Up for some boating and swimming? Take advantage of some of the areas nicest areas such as Riffe Lake, Mayfield Lakes and pristine rivers.

Looking for something a little more adventurous? How about giving white water rafting or Kayaking a try. Some of the best class 5 rapids are right here in our own backyard.

Hunt for rocks….Explore caves…Skydive from Toledo’s parachute center…Do some bird watching and take in some of the other wildlife that populate the area.

CrystalMountainFrom Cross Country skiing and snow shoeing around Mt. Rainier in East Lewis County and in the Mount St. Helen’s region to hitting the many slopes that are just a short drive away. Choose from either White Pass or Crystal Mountain…both boasting world class facilities!

Yep, we are pretty lucky to have all this right in our own backyard. If you are looking for adventure and a great place to call home, consider Chehalis and our surrounding communities like Mossyrock, Napavine, Morton, Pe Ell and Winlock for a taste of your little spot of paradise.
